Today, Jamie and I decided to go on a nice little “close-to-home” hike in K-Country. We picked Mount Yamnuska!
About a 7km hike, with almost 900m elevation gain all the way to the summit! the top 1km or so was a harsh scramble on a steep slope – not my idea of fun. we made it to the first peak, had some lunch, and decided to try and make it to the 2nd peak. i stopped halfway due to simply being too scared to continue. jamie did continue to the 2nd peak – go jamie!
